I don't listen to much dubstep or know much about it but I know I like this as a piece of electronic music.

Lightbooster responds:

Thanks!!! :DD

I paid a euro to download it and that's like £20, 000 since Brexit.

Shozi responds:

you could have downloaded it for free tho :D thanks so much for the support dude! im glad you liked it that much :)

The overall sound is a tad tinny and some of the instruments sound a little over-quantized to me? Maybe even drawn in rather than played but I'm not sure. The composition itself is fantastic though. The arrangement is very strong with quite a lot going on but it never sounds too busy or messy, everything supports everything else, everything just does what it needs to without it feeling like it's just there to fill space and I really like your sense of melody.

Really good stuff :)

Shozi responds:

thanks for the detailed review dude. im still struggling with the mix of my tracks, gotta figure it out tho. Im thankful for your feedback :)

The production of this is fantastic. The strings sound gorgeous and that bass is huge! Love the guitar-style synth, too!

Enzer0 responds:

Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah that bass is a ripper. Heh.

I quite like this, there's a fair bit of dissonance but that ain't a problem for me. At first I wasn't sold on the fidelity, but I dunno, the slightly lo-fi sound is making me think of some of the older electronica I love. I think some of the gaps, where you go silent between sections are a tad long but that might just be me.

Those basses sound fantastic, you blow mine way out of the water!

Really good stuff!

This is really chilled, but it still has a great groove. Good stuff :)

Lightbooster responds:

Thanks :D

Second half sounds pretty fantastic on my speakers! I know the pain of not knowing if it'll sound the same on other people's sound systems all too well; I really need some monitors :[ Anyway, I really enjoyed this track, the electronic instruments really added a lot to the dark atmosphere of the track. Sounds kind of Zimmer-esque in places.

Also, that voice at about 1:30 sounds awesome. Is that a virtual instrument? I've heard similar voices on a few soundtracks.

TitanMusic responds:

Thanks for the review!
Yeah man, I really really need to get my hands on some decent studio speakers but I will have to wait.
"Sounds kind of Zimmer-esque in places." haha awesome!
The vocals are from "Tonehammer Forgotten Voices-Francesca". Its quite a popular vst and for good reason!

I really enjoyed this. It had some lovely melodies and a nice, strong pulse. It succeeded in being quite melancholy sounding, too. A lot of beat-heavy electronic music isn't good at that, so kudos!

pfrequency responds:

Thanks!

Yes it sounds good. Finish it now!

ToRtiK responds:

Thank you.
In any case I'll make it to the end. :))

The fill and crashes at 0:55 were quite distracting and didn't fit the tone of the piece. That being said, I really liked the rest of it. It was a very relaxing and lovely piece of music. That fill there was just a bit too distracting, though. If you could make the transition to the next section a bit smoother, this could easily be a 4/4.5.

Keep it up!

W00ki3 responds:

Thanks a lot for ur opinion ;)

I like making music.
